Serhat wants his daughter back, but seven years of separation cannot simply disappear overnight.
Now that he knows Kader is his child, he is determined to give her the place she deserves in his life.
The problem is that his anger towards Berrak, Cihan, and his own family is making an already difficult situation even harder.
The trailers for Güller ve Günahlar Episode 40 suggest that Serhat will have very little peace in the coming episode.
He wants to take Kader home, Zeynep becomes the victim of a kidnapping, and a confrontation involving Cihan and his father looks increasingly dangerous.

Güller ve Günahlar Episode 40 Trailer 1: Serhat Wants to Bring Kader Home
The first trailer focuses on Serhat’s feelings after learning that Kader is his daughter.
His anger towards Berrak is understandable. She kept such an important truth from him, and he has now realised how much of Kader’s childhood he missed.
For seven years, he had no idea that he was a father. He will never get those memories back, and that seems to weigh heavily on him.
Serhat does not want to waste any more time. He wants Kader to come and live with him, promising that he will never leave her again.
However, will Kader be ready for such a big change?
The series needs to explore this carefully. From Serhat’s side, he is finally getting the chance to be a father.
For Kader, however, he is still someone she has spent most of her life without. She may need time to understand and accept this new relationship.
It will be interesting to see how Serhat handles that situation. He has waited seven years to know his daughter, but now he must learn how to be part of her everyday life.
Güller ve Günahlar Episode 40 Trailer 2: Zeynep Is Kidnapped
The second trailer takes a completely different turn.
Zeynep is kidnapped in the middle of the street, and the short promotional footage does not reveal much about who is responsible.
Her situation is particularly worrying because she has been trying to help Serhat through his family problems.
She knows how deeply the truth about Kader has affected him and how angry he has become with the people around him.
Now she needs help.
The biggest question is whether her kidnapping has anything to do with Serhat’s conflict with Cihan and his family.
The trailer does not provide enough information to confirm a connection, but the timing is certainly worth watching.
One thing viewers will want to know is how Serhat reacts when he learns that Zeynep has disappeared. He already has plenty to deal with, and this could change his immediate priorities.
Güller ve Günahlar Episode 40 Trailer 3: Serhat Takes a Gun to Confront Cihan and His Father
The third trailer gives us a closer look at Serhat’s growing anger.
He takes a gun and heads towards a confrontation with Cihan and his father.
It is clear that he wants answers, and he seems to have reached a point where he is no longer willing to stay quiet.
Zeynep knows Serhat could act in anger. She tries to help by being his eyes and ears, hoping to stop him from doing something he might regret later.
However, before she can make a difference, she is kidnapped in the middle of the street.
This raises an important concern. Zeynep has been trying to keep Serhat from going too far, but who will help him stay calm when she is missing?
The trailer does not show whether Serhat actually uses the gun or how the confrontation ends.
Güller ve Günahlar Episode 40: Episode Summary
Serhat’s discovery that Kader is his daughter continues to affect every part of his life.
He wants to bring her home and make up for the years they have lost, but his relationship with her cannot be repaired overnight.
Kader has grown up without knowing him as her father, and Serhat will have to find a way to earn her trust.
His anger towards Berrak is also far from over. Knowing that she kept Kader’s identity a secret for seven years has left him struggling to accept what happened.
He wants answers, and his confrontation with her shows just how deeply the truth has affected him.
Meanwhile, Zeynep tries to stop Serhat from letting his anger take control. She knows that his growing conflict with Cihan and his father could have serious consequences.
Instead of simply standing by, she decides to help him and become his eyes and ears.
However, her efforts take an unexpected turn when she is kidnapped in the middle of the street.
Her disappearance leaves Serhat facing another serious problem at a time when he is already dealing with his daughter’s future and the secrets surrounding his family.
Episode 40 brings these storylines together, with Serhat caught between becoming the father Kader needs and confronting the people he believes have wronged him.
Zeynep’s kidnapping complicates matters further, especially as Serhat seems ready for a dangerous confrontation.

Conclusion
Serhat has finally learned that Kader is his daughter, but instead of the peaceful reunion he wants, he faces one difficult situation after another.
His anger towards Berrak is understandable, yet his growing conflict with Cihan and his father could make things worse.
I am particularly interested in seeing how the writers develop the relationship between Serhat and Kader.
It would be nice to see them slowly get to know each other rather than rushing into a happy father-daughter reunion.
And then there is Zeynep. Her kidnapping comes at a particularly bad time for Serhat. Will he find her before things get worse?
More importantly, will he put his anger aside when he realises she needs him?
We will find out when the new episode airs.
Güller ve Günahlar Episode 40 premieres on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 8:00 PM on Kanal D.
