The introduction of the Sicak Kafa – Hot Head series shot for Netflix Turkey was released the other day and aroused great curiosity in the audience. Adapted from Afşin Kum’s novel of the same name, the series depicts a world turned upside down by an epidemic of insanity that infects the mind through language and speech.
The series tells the story of a person immune to this state, in which a disease of insanity spreads from ear to ear, emerges by talking, and is dominated by laziness.
The only person mysteriously unaffected by the insanity epidemic is Murat Siyavuş, a former linguist. Learning that he is wanted by the Epidemic Control Agency, which is famous for its brutality, Murat is forced to flee from the liberated area where he hides and chases the secret of his “hot head,” which is the legacy of the disease, in the mysterious corridors of Istanbul in the fire.
