Emre Bey, a charming actor who portrayed the series’ lead in Balkan Ninnisi on TRT1, began participating in professional football when he was just eight years old. His greatest aspiration as a child was to play football. The teenage football player spoke with Hakan Gence of the Hürriyet Newspaper on his journey from the football field to acting.

Emre Bey attracted attention when he said that one of his sister’s friends worked at the agency when he was in high school: “He said, ‘You have a good face, let’s get you signed up for the agency,’ and that incident has come this far.”

When he attended his first test shot, the actor, then a high school student, recalled, “I went in my school clothes. I didn’t go to school. But I had the director’s love. A few days later, the agency’s owner contacted me from his office while I was in class and said, “Emre, they want you.” I then started acting in serials all of a sudden,” he claimed.

The actor, who had received instruction from a number of workshops, including Atölye Craft, became well-known after appearing in the Kanal D television series “Ad Legends.” When he began the TV series “Elimi Birakma”, the actor who studies media communication stopped his study owing to a lack of time.

Emre Bey, ‘At what point did you say that this would be my profession?’ He answered the following question: “I was young when I started, but as I got to know myself better, I thought, ‘Yes, I want to do this job.’ Acting has always been my dream. Right now, I’m more interested in him than the fame part of the job. After all, fame is what comes with it when you do your job well.”

The first lead role of the actor in the series is called Balkan Ninnisi. Stating that the lead role did not frighten him, Emre Bey said, “Don’t be overconfident, but I didn’t start this job out of fear. I’ve played characters close to the leading roles before. Step by step, I came up with training. I did not find myself here all of a sudden.”
